Recover original CorelDraw Workspace

PROBLEM: The original workspace in CorelDraw changed or does not appear

         Solution:

         Exit CorelDraw

For Windows XP, delete the files located in C:\Documents and Settings\"ProfileName"\ApplicationData\Corel where the profile name is your user name. This is a system or hidden folder so be sure your search is enabled for this (see below).

1.      Click Start , click Search , click All files and folders , and then click More advanced options .

2.      Click to select the Search system folders and Search hidden files and folders check boxes.

3.      Search for a folder named  “Corel”.

4.       You may delete any folders named “c:\ Documents and Settings \….\….\Corel”. You will be deleting the user profile workspace folder ONLY. DO NOT DELETE the “c:\Corel” folder as this is the program folder.

You may now restart CorelDraw8 and the workspaces should be recovered.

For Windows 7,8, delete the files located in C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW9 (insert your username).

This is a system or hidden folder so be sure your search is enabled for this.
